heyo, long time c++ coder (algorithms, simulations, & modeling engineering) that discovered some of the joys of web programming last year. It's amazing how exploring a dozen or two languages over a few months can flip your thinking upside down.

I've pretty much fallen in love with how programming in ruby and even javascript to an extent lets my mind wander and then constrain problems to their essentials. I'm hoping for a similar experience in Arc after reading off and on about Lisp (and Lisp machines).

Appreciate any tips or sample shares.

My bad for duplication.

No biggie. This place moves slow enough that you can default to http://arclanguage.org/newest and http://arclanguage.org/newcomments, where you would've seen these. Let us know if you have any questions as you go!

The administrator should consider a link to a tutorial for Arc as part of the Arc Forum header links to avoid the repetitive posting of questions like this. "Where do I go to learn about this language?" is going to be a question that is repeated often if Arc becomes more popular. With the positive reputation of PG, I am surprised there are not more posts similar to this.

I can see how it could be confusing to find those resources if you're starting from this forum, but it's worth noting that the site's home page [http://arclanguage.org] links to them.

I'm not the site admin, to be sure. I guess that would be pg or rtm?
